Tom Selleck has lived the ranch lifestyle in California for almost thirty years. Living on a ranch, according to him and his spouse, keeps him relatively calm.

Selleck and Mack love the ranch. Before he bought the property, Selleck decided he wanted to make amends and get some privacy back. The actor hardly finished any work during the year, which worried people about his career.
